British investment firm Platina Energy Partners has sold a 30 MW portfolio consisting of four operating solar plants located in Spain to the Spanish investment manager Q-Energy. Platina acquired the four solar PV plants, located close to Toledo, Sevilla and Tenerife, and arranged non-recourse long-term financing of the Portfolio with UniCredit, NordLB and Santander in 2008 to 2009.

According to the company, Platina has been managing funds investing in renewable energy for the past 17 years. It has deployed €1.3 billion ($1.5 billion), invested in four development platforms and operated more than 740 MW of renewable assets.
