PROINSO, a company selling modules, inverters, solar trackers and fixed structures for solar photovoltaic installations, has recently launched PROINSO STORE, an innovative online store that will supply photovoltaic products from leading brands in the American, Spanish, German, and Italian markets first and then in other European markets like the UK, France or Greece, all countries where the multinational company has installer service offices.
At http://store.proinso.net, the members of PROINSO’s International Network of Qualified Installers and other companies in the aforementioned markets can access a wide range of modules and solar trackers from Trina Solar, Canadian Solar, REC, and SMA. Customers can browse the site without signing in, something they cannot do at other online stores.
PROINSO STORE will be constantly updated for the latest product news and market prices. The new online store will offer more advantages to the members of the International Network of Qualified Installers, such as discounts that will vary with the order size.
According to PROINSO sources, at http://store.proinso.net , companies or individuals can make a selection of orders that can be modified according to what the customer agrees with the PROINSO sales department, which will send the customer an offer. Each installer can sign in with a username and password, and they will have a sales representative in their country. “The selection of purchase orders made with the online tool does not mean the customer must make the purchase. Availability can be checked and delivery dates and final prices can be negotiated before an order is actually placed,” they said.
Delivery dates are decided for each order depending on product quantities or availability. At the new online store, PROINSO will offer a new service to customers and Qualified Installers, in line with the company’s policy to offer quality services and a high added value.
Thanks to the good relationship with current manufacturers, and to other manufacturers who said they are interested in this service, PROINSO STORE will soon launch a special section offering factory outlet PV products. Discounts will be the highest on the market in this section. The prices and availability of factory outlet products will depend on stock and clearance.
The PROINSO website is available in more than 11 languages and has more than 1,000 visitors a day on average, thus totalling around 325,000 yearly visits. Furthermore, over 40% are recurring visitors. This year, the countries with the largest numbers of visitors to the website have been Italy, the USA and Canada, Germany, Greece, Spain, France, and the UK.
Other actions in line with the company’s innovative policy are the PROINSO Training School, the Sigma Solar tool to create customised catalogues, or PROINSO PLUS, a customer loyalty programme in the Italian market.
By the end of September 2011, the company had supplied over 1,000 MW in modules and inverters delivered to some of the more than 1,811 solar PV companies in its International Network of Qualified Installers. This record high for the sector consolidates PROINSO’s position as one of the leading companies in the solar PV sector, with 1 GW delivered so far.
